- Understanding and knowledge.
- Safe use of equipment
Assessments are a balance of theory in a classroom environment. Practical assessment (CNC Automation only) using live water jetting equipment.
Classes of Safety awareness card are as follows:
- Operational staff which must include one module, please note Safety awareness must be completed first.
- Non-operational – Without a module for candidates who do not use water jetting equipment
- Operatives who use CNC Automation “closed hood” only, this must include a practical assessment.
The safety awareness course is an enabling course which allows Candidates to become operational status by adding WJA modules.
The safety awareness card is valid for three years before it needs to be renewed for a further three years.
The course provides a foundation to the hazards involved with water jetting and gives an overview of WJA operational modules.
Why?
